Atlantic Canada is small, friendly and, yes, everybody knows everybody. Halifax is the hub, with Rumours bringing back a proper queer club on the waterfront, a big July Pride, and a lot of students and newcomers every September. Leave Halifax and things spread out fast. Lots of the men here live in small towns where getting to a gay bar means a proper road trip, assuming there’s one left in their province at all.
